South Philly’s Green Aisle Grocery has hit the big time. The locally-stocked store is featured in the February issue of Food & Wine, and it’s not just a blurb. The shop is highlighted in a three-page spread in the mag’s “what to cook next” section.
It starts off with a brief bio. of the shop’s owners Adam and Andrew Erace, then goes into a drool-inducing list of “half-scratch recipes” created by Adam. Each recipe (from the Apple-Butter Ice Cream, to the Country Pate Banh Mi) features ingredients produced in PA and available at Green Aisle.
