Fairmount Arts Crawl this Sunday!

This Sunday, April 29, walk off brunch and soak up some culture at the annual Fairmount Arts Crawl. At this spring time festival, 45 businesses along Fairmount will temporarily transform into art galleries and venues with over 70 installations to experience. Some locations, such as the Mural Arts Program Re-Shop tent (21st and Fairmount) and Fairmount Framing (754 N 25th Street) are more expected sites for artsy activities, but restaurants and bars, realty and insurance offices, and health-centric businesses will also play unlikely hosts to shows by local artists.

There’s fun stuff for the kids, too: dance lessons at LifeSport Fitness (2112 Fairmount), world music by local musician Emily Bate at Ali’s Wagon (2017 Fairmount), face painting at the Flying Saucer Café (2545 Brown Street), and more. The Arts Crawl is free, and the weather forecast for Sunday is looking like the perfect day to cruise the streets of this charming neighborhood.
