photo by Barry HalkinAs if the LEED Platinum certification and state-of-the-art design weren’t enough to be proud of, the Kensington High School for the Creative and Performing Arts has a new accolade to add to their list. The American Institute of Architects’ Committee on the Environment recently voted the school one of the top 10 examples of sustainable architecture and green design. The Top Ten Green Projects program is an annual national award and the highest recognition of sustainable design excellence.
