Party On: June issue release party on May 16th!

Start

Pie made by recipe maestro Marisa McClellan..just a piece of this delicious issue. If you haven’t already heard it through the grapevine, from one of our almost 200 confirmed party guests, we will be celebrating our June Food Issue in just one week! Perhaps one of our most anticipated issues (I mean, who doesn’t LOVE food?! Especially when it’s locally and sustainably grown, and available right in your neighborhood) we can’t wait to share this one with you.

Besides the GRID issue you know and love with a food-tastic makeover, this issue also features our second annual Local Food Guide done in collaboration with the hard-working staff of Fair Food. The LFG is a comprehensive round-up of the farmers markets, CSAs, buying clubs, restaurants, groceries and more where you can support our region’s farmers and producers — plus, get your serious grub on.

That said, a party to celebrate this issue must be held at one of Philadelphia’s most enticing food Meccas: Reading Terminal Market and feature some seriously delicious locally-produced eats. Flying Fish Brewing Company will tap a keg, Rolling Barrel will roll-out a wine/cheese/chocolate spread, and the staff at Fair Food will serve up delectable cheeses paired with local bread.

We know we’ll see you there!
