Reading Rainbow: Fifth Annual Philadelphia Book Festival

Start

If the thought of picking up books to exercise your mind has you jumping for joy, then we have something in store for you. The upcoming 5th Annual Philadelphia Book Festival is sure to delight your heart. Join the Free Library of Philadelphia as it hosts exciting events all week long, from Monday, April 11 through Saturday, April 16.

The festival will feature interesting discussions by bestselling authors, musical performances, tours of the Library’s special collections, exhibitions, and engaging programs for children of all ages. This is an event to enjoy with your family and friends, so if you have a little brother or sister, bring them along for an educational roller coaster ride of oooh’s and aaah’s.

Plus, don’t forget to attend the busy Festival Street Fair on Saturday, April 16, from 10:00am to 5:00pm. It’s the region’s largest literacy street fair and an enjoyable way to spend your day on  Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

For event updates, photos, and much more, become a fan of the Free Library’s Facebook page or follow on Twitter @PhillyBookFest.
