The standard burger and a side of fries—this greasy meal can be found virtually anywhere around the city. But what has our mouths watering in anticipation is the grand opening of O Burger, a rare green and organic burger joint. Meal Ticket posted the news, and frankly, we can’t wait for the South Street location to open its doors.
In about a month, 326 South Street, formerly the location of the clothing store, Underground Market, will sell all-organic beef, turkey, chicken, and veggie burgers, with sides of fries, salads, and hummus. Owners, Eyal Aranya and Yoni Nadav, have plans to already open two more locations in Center City.
In the meantime, fancying something vegan while you wait? Stop in at N. 33rd Steet and enter a world of delectable vegan treats. Nick’s Vegan, which opened last month, carries muffins, breads, wraps and full entrees. The kitchen guarantees all ingredients are 100-percent vegan, non GMO (genetically modified), and “individually crafted to ensure both freshness and sustainability.”
