The Papermill, a Kensington arts community, is competing for a $250,000 Pepsi Refresh Grant to improve the building and offer arts and music programs to neighborhood kids. They need your vote to win. Please consider their project in the above video and use the following voting instructions:
- Text voting via mobile phone. Simply text the number 73774 (shorter than the regular seven digits, but it works) and enter the Papermill’s voting ID number: 105660. You will receive a confirmation thanking you for your vote.
- Logging onto the Pepsi Refresh website (you will have to register to vote, but it only takes a minute). Simply click on the button on the right that says, “Vote for this idea.”
- Voting via Facebook. Click the link for the Pepsi Refresh app. and then type in “The Papermill.” A box will appear: “Renovate an old warehouse to teach arts to children in the community.” Simply click on the button on the right that says, “Vote for this idea.”
*Update: In December we told you about the ECA’s quest for Pepsi Refresh’s 250K to build a new solar lab. Unfortunately the organization was not victorious, but we applaud their effort and look forward to more news from them in the future.
