Green Cleaning: Let’s Make it a Party

Ever hear of a green cleaning party? Well, according to this Philadelphia Inquirer story, the concept is in use out in Minneapolis.

Basically, six women got together to party, and instead of pizza and beer, they bring baking soda, olive oil, borax and white wine, and then created various cleaning products out of the ingredients.

Ingredients in the cleaning products aren’t always the safest. Some don’t even get listed. So, these women have taken matters into their own hands, and decided that cleaning should be, well, clean.

“I should really do this,” Rose Wettstein said. “When I was pregnant with my daughter, I wondered, should I be using this around her, around the house? What exactly is in the things I’m using?
