Start

Moore College of Art and Design waves its green flag yet again with the Annual Trash Fashion Show. The fashion show—now in its thirteenth year—is the final project for the Basics Design Class taught by Prof. Jack Thompson. The event will be held Thursday, April 22, falling the same week as Earth Day, naturally.

Students will construct their collections entirely from trash—electrical tape, soy packets, shower curtains, candy wrappers, phone wire, old CDs and more.

April 22, two show: 11:30 a.m. & 6 p.m., The Great Hall, Moore College of Art & Design, 20th Street and The Parkway. Admission is free and open to the public. For information, call 215-965-4000.
