GRID’S GUIDE TO PHILLY’S TOP CSAS: LANDISDALE FARM

Start

Located in Lebanon County, Landisdale Farm is a family owned and operated venture dedicated to organic growing. The family’s handpicked wares can be found at farmers’ markets in Chestnut Hill, West Philadelphia’s Clark Park and Mt. Gretna. But the most convenient way to enjoy Landisdale’s produce is to purchase a CSA share. The entirely vegetarian full or medium shares are delivered to over a dozen locations throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs beginning in June. Families of three or four are advised to choose the full share, while those buying for one or two should go with the smaller medium share. Every week, shareholders will receive a variety of seasonal vegetables as well as fruit grown using an integrated pest management program.
