Indoor Winter Learn to Ride Class presented by Indego

  • Athletic Recreation Center (map)

This free two hour class teaches adults and teenagers 16 and up how to ride a bicycle(or remember how to ride a bicycle). This class is perfect for those who haven’t ever ridden a bike, or haven’t ridden in a long time. There will also be a skill building bicycle course for people that can ride by the end of the class.

Staff and volunteers will teach participants balance, pedaling, starting, stopping, steering, and shifting gears.

The class will be held at The Athletic Rec Center @ 26th and Master (entrance on 26th st.)

This class will use Indego bikes. Helmets will be provided and participants can keep the helmets after the class (because safety is important for all bicyclists!)

Sign-up is required and spaces are limited. Our next class will be at the same time and location on March 22nd.

*Height Restrictions: The bikes we use for the class are recommended for 5'2" and up. If you'd like to come out with your own bike, Please let us know.
