Start

Are you passionate about sustainability and looking for a way to get involved in Philadelphia? Grid is looking for eco-minded individuals interested in an editorial internship during the spring semester.

We are looking for current students or recent graduates with a background in environmental or sustainability issues, strong writing skills and an interest in contributing to Grid’s mission and learning more about it. The positions are unpaid, with the option of receiving school credit.

The bulk of the internship will be writing stories for the website, and possibly the magazine and managing our burgeoning events calendar, in addition to helping us out at events. Fact-checking and proofreading skills are a plus, but not required. The internship is 12 to 20 hours per week and very flexible and typically last 10 to 12 weeks, but can be extended.

To apply, email your resume, cover letter detailing why you’d like to intern at Grid and three published writing clips (no class papers, please) to getinvolved@gridphilly.com
