With plenty of trails, paths and bike lanes leading in and out of the city, bike rides can be an ideal way to explore the cycle-friendly Philadelphia area. And now, taking these rides is even easier thanks to Where to Bike Philadelphia, the latest installment in the recreational cycling series.
Julie Lorch, Philadelphia resident and biking buff, leads 71 rides in the book—50 for adults and 21 for children. The trips cover Philadelphia, South Jersey, and Delaware, Bucks and Montgomery counties, visiting historic landmarks, museums, state parks, and even local restaurants (We're excited for the PASA Bike Fresh Bike Local Tour!).
The book won’t be available until August 15, but in the meantime check out this exclusive excerpt featuring a ride around the Mainline. And be sure to look for GRID’s review of Where to Bike Philadelphia in our October issue, hitting stands September 8!
