Photographer and frequent GRID contributor, Christian Hunold will host a small show during the upcoming Fairmount Arts Crawl on April 17th. The show is titled “Close Encounters,” and investigates the idea that, “wildlife photography requires cooperation between animal and photographer.”
Hunold believes that a photographer seeking to capture a wild animal must avoid scaring the animal in order to capture fleeting intimate moments. The collection includes images of PA’s native birds, and shots taken at the John Heinz Wildlife Refuge.
Be sure to catch this interesting exhibit!
