Image Courtesy of OSAOprhan Support Africa (OSA), an international non-profit organization seeking  to improve the future of children orphaned by HIV/AIDS throughout sub-Saharan Africa, will have an open house on Feb. 24 to celebrate the opening of their new office in Philadelphia.

Throughout the poorest areas of Malawi, Tanzania and southern Uganda there is a major need for community restoration. That’s where OSA steps in. The organization partners with community-based organizations to create income-generating projects, the revenue from which will offer children the care and resources they need to become independent adults.

Since its inception in 2004, with the assistance of a $2.2 million grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, OSA has been able to reach more than 55,000 orphans.

The open house will be from 6 – 8 p.m. at OSA’s new digs, 2424 Studio, 2424 E. York St. Entertainment and refreshments will be provided. In addition, there will be a raffle and presentations to raise awareness about the hard work and huge success of OSA. Please come out to support this worthy cause!
