This is sort of funny-but really doesn't acknowledge the incredible engineering challenges that had to be overcome on the sea floor, not in the board room. It makes an incorrect metaphor that says cleaning up spilled coffee should be as easy as stopping a plume of high pressure oil escaping from the seafloor. While BP was inept at stopping the spill, they were facing a much much much much bigger challenge than what is shown here.
We ought to have some humility and remember that BP and the gulf states got into this mess because Americans like you and me are so hungry for oil. Ride your bike, grow a garden, and turn off the lights!
