Ring the Bell: Bike Parking Just Got Easier

Start

Rings are installed on Walnut St.In 2009, the Philadelphia Parking Authority began removing heads from meters, converting to a kiosk system. This made the metal poles far less useful to city cyclists looking for a place to lock up. Well, great news! Yesterday, the city started installing bike lock rings on the old poles. According to the Bicycle Coalition, stimulus cash paid for 1,500 rings. Click here for more pictures.
