Co-op With Class: Help Out KCFC

The Kensington Community Food Co-op (KCFC) has been working mighty hard for the past two years to organize and plan out their vision for a cooperative grocery store. The truth is, opening a store is expensive and the KCFC needs some help. This Thursday, they're hosting "Classy Night Out with the Co-op."

For only $10, attendees will be treated to food and wine, plus live music and local art work. The event will take place at the Mascher Space Studio, a historic sprawling loft space on Cecil B. Moore Ave. that is also home to the Mascher Space Dance Co-op (also benefiting from the event.)

Stay classy Grid readers, and help out these two budding organizations. Details after the jump.

7:00 - 9:30 p.m. Thursday, November 11 at Mascher Space Studio (155 Cecil B. Moore Ave.)

Enjoy a beautiful and historic loft space, food and wine, and performances by The Great QuentiniKatie Barbato of the Sleepwells, Melisa Putz, William Sherman, Dawn Ann Bryant. Work from Co-op artists (Garvin Kelly, Meredith Kleiber and Kate VanVliet) will be on display. Limited seating, so buy your tickets in advance HERE.
