Neighborhood Bike Works is a nonprofit educational organization in Philadelphia that seeks to increase opportunities for urban youth through cycling, and which promotes cycling as an environmentally-friendly means of transportation.
We have a variety of volunteer opportunities to suit any schedule and interest. These include going on bike rides with our youth, assisting our instructors in youth bicycle repair classes and in our summer camp, promoting Neighborhood Bike Works at events throughout the city, riding with our mountain biking club and racing team, shaping up our bicycle shops, assisting in the office, helping with the annual Neighborhood Bike Works Bike Part Art Show, and working to provide bicycle parking at events.
