Learn how maple syrup and sugar are made, as guides take small groups through the woods to see the tapped trees, discuss the scientific process and watch the sap being boiled into sugar. The tours are approximately 45 minutes and end at Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association’s historic headquarters, where they’ll serve hot chocolate and warm treats with maple syrup. Registration requested. Last tour leaves at 3 p.m.
