Bartram’s Garden’s Mary Mantey and Philadelphia Seed Exchange’s Owen Taylor will provide guidance as volunteers hand-process a wide assortment of seeds collected from the garden in this year. Some of these seeds will be sold out of our nursery next year while others will be planted in the garden in the spring. Each type of seed is handled a little differently, making this an excellent opportunity for those interested in learning the ancient practice of saving seed. Hot tea will be provided for volunteers, who will be able to work indoors in the heated Coach House building.
