Zero Waste as a Climate Solution: a Keynote Address

As part of the Post-Landfill Action Network's 4th annual Students for Zero Waste Conference, we are opening the keynote presentation to the general public! Learn about the effects and impacts of Zero Waste as a solution to climate change.

Kate Bailey works for Eco-Cycle, one of the oldest and largest nonprofit recycling organizations in the world. Based in Boulder, Colorado, Kate is the director of the Eco-Cycle Solutions project, where she works with citizens, city staff and elected officials to implement Zero Waste solutions in local communities. Kate has more than 10 years of experience as a leading authority on Zero Waste best practices and has created national reports, websites, and campaigns to drive local action. (You do not need to register for the SZW conference to attend this event, and if you have registered for the SZW17 Conference, you DO NOT need to register for this talk separately, as it is included as part of conference registration)
