Magnificent Monarchs

  • 1635 River Rd New Hope, PA, 18938 United States

America’s best-loved butterfly is in serious trouble and needs our help. Diane Cameron will share her knowledge about the amazing migration of the Monarch butterfly, its life-cycle, why it is in decline, and what you can do to help. Head out into our meadow to look at the monarch host plant, milkweed; and search for eggs, caterpillars, and adult butterflies. Diane will also discuss and demonstrate butterfly tagging, which helps track the butterflies through their migration through the Monarch Watch initiative.

For ages 5 and up. Up to 20 participants.
Members: $6/adult, $4/child; Non-members: $10/adult, $8/child.
